Meet Luke Piram, Electrical Field Leader with Egan for over 11 years.

His favorite part about Egan is the opportunity to take part in such a variety of jobs; and seeing multi-phase projects come together over an extended time period is highly rewarding.

When he’s not at work, Luke and his family can be found enjoying the outdoors and camping with friends – their favorite weekend activity. He has kayaked the Colorado River in Utah two times!

Meet Nick Sexton, Sheet Metal Field Leader who has been with Egan for nine years.

When he isn’t working, Nick enjoys spending time with his family at their cabin up north. He loves to be outdoors – mountain biking, fishing, swimming, and clearing their property are a few favorite activities.

Meet Paul Hartman, an Electrical Field Leader who has been with Egan for over 10 years.

Paul’s favorite way to spend the weekend is being in the great outdoors. He enjoys kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping, and many other activities. “My happy place is the outdoors where I find serenity. It also helps me return to work recharged on Monday morning!”

Another fact about Paul is that he has been a volunteer for over 25 years for clubs such as Capable Partners, an organization that provides hunting, fishing, and related opportunities for the physically challenged, and Muskies Incorporated, an organization focused on improving the sport of musky fishing.

We Are Egan – Dan Ford

“Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling.”

Meet Dan Ford, Project Systems Supervisor within the Field Services team, who has been with Egan for 10 years.

Outside of the office, Dan’s favorite weekend activity is jumping on the trampoline with his kids. “I have tons of great trampoline memories from my childhood. Now, I can pass those onto my own children which is fun!”

Before joining Egan, Dan served for 10 years as a combat medic and was deployed to Iraq in 2005 for 22 months on the ‘Extended Red Bull Tour’.

Another interesting fact about Dan is that he spent all of 2015 using the Trimble Total Robotic Station software to lay out glass for InterClad’s project at U.S. Bank Stadium. Through this project, he developed a process for “Vertical Layout” that he presented back to Trimble.

Meet Joe Trosen, a Controls Engineer who has been with Egan for 11 years.

Joe recently entered the ranks of fatherhood with the birth of his son, Jack, in May. “It is amazing how quickly he is growing and learning.”

Alan loves to go camping and fishing with his family or attend car shows with his self-built ’52 Chevy pickup. Fun Fact – he was also the Mayor of his hometown of Zumbro Falls for 26 years.

Meet Mark Schneider, a Millwright Field Leader who has been with Egan for 12 years.

Mark primarily works at the St. Paul Cogeneration Plant in St. Paul. The Cogeneration is a biomass-fired, combined heat and power plant that heats about 80 percent of the buildings in downtown St. Paul. Mark helps keep the nine-story operation running effectively and efficiently.

When Mark isn’t at work, he enjoys being outside, especially four-wheeling.

Meet John Tupy, an Electrical Field Leader who has been with Egan for 12 years.

With his wife and two young daughters, John prefers to spend his spare time exploring Minnesota park trails and DIY projects around the house. Occasionally, he squeezes in an afternoon away to fly fish at his property in Preston, Minn.

Meet Wes Ramlow, a Sheet Metal 3D Modeler who has been with Egan for over four years.

Outside of work, Wes enjoys spending time up north on the lake either relaxing or fishing. He also has two German Shorthair pointers he likes to watch hunt for ruffed grouse in the woods.
