PLC Upgrade

The CHS grain elevator in Savage, Minn. enhanced its equipment and software with the help of Egan Company’s Industrial Controls team. The Design/Build project included the demo of existing control panels and the installation of newly designed and engineered I/O modules. Several outdated Allen Bradley PLC 5 processors were updated to new Allen Bradley Control Logix Racks Eight new programmable logic controller (PLC) racks were installed in multiple locations throughout the facility for improved automation and efficiency of the facility. New Fiber and ethernet was installed for PLC Communication
