- Egan's Mechanical, InterClad, and Building Automation teams were able to extend their expertise for the new five-story Two Discovery Square, as part of the larger Destination Medical Center (DMC) in Rochester, Minn.
- The mechanical team delivered the core and shell. The plumbing portion of this project consisted of a core public bathroom group on each floor. The scope of work also included providing softened pressure boosted domestic water systems to each floor, along with a piped rainwater system to the public utilities.
- The HVAC included two 45,000 CFM rooftop units serving a riser shaft on both sides of the building with supply and return ducts stubbed out on each floor for future tenant build-outs. Near the stairs and elevators, the core areas on each floor were served with a supply VAV-box with electric reheat. Each floor has a data room served by a split system AC unit.
- The scope of work for the InterClad team included installation of 22,000 sf exterior Curtain wall, Pre-glazed Window wall and Storefront systems. The interior work consisted of two automatic slider doors, and miscellaneous door glazing.
- Egan's Building Automation group also provided the BAS for the mechanical systems.
- DMC is the largest public-private partnership in Minnesota state history.
