The project was completed in 2022, with ongoing software upgrades since.
- Northfield Block in Mundelein, IL, received new batching controls for their block & paver plant and their dry-mix plant with the help of Egan’s IntelliBatch® team.
- The project included programming automation for the lines, as well as the installation of new PLC components in the plants.
- The automation systems set up by Egan are regularly updated to ensure accurate and high-quality production processes for the concrete plant.
- Oldcastle and Egan’s IntelliBatch team partner on many projects, including IntelliBatch installation at new plants, software and hardware upgrades, and ongoing automation work.
