- M Health Fairview and McGough Construction utilized Egan's electrical team for the 120,000 square foot addition and remodel of the University of Minnesota Medical Center's East and West Bank.
- The multi-year renovation project expanded the emergency departments, added new state-of-the-art operating rooms, and improved the patient experience at the medical center.
- Egan’s electrical team performed extensive electrical work on the East Bank, including surgery rooms, Intraoperative MRI units, endoscopy rooms, and emergency rooms.
- In addition, Egan also performed electrical work on the West Bank including surgery rooms and patient units.
- With Egan as the electrical design engineer, BIM (Building Information Modeling) 3D modeling was employed for coordination of the project.

- Construction was conducted in phases to minimize the disruptions to patients and families. All departments remained open during the project, and construction continued amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Over the course of this extensive project, 25 electricians worked onsite, amounting to 75,000 total manhours worked.
