- Hennepin Country Medical Center (HCMC) is a comprehensive academic medical center and public hospital with world-class trauma services, specialty and primary care services located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis.
- This newly constructed 377,000 square foot addition includes primary care clinics, specialty clinics, and outpatient surgery facilities.
- The building was fitted with 61,500 square feet of exterior curtainwall and glass/glazing to the six levels of the building.
- This system featured a multi-level glazed segmented surpiteen curtainwall, 175 punched window openings, nine entrance swing doors, three automatic glazed sliding entrances, and a single casement window.
- A unique addition to this project was a curtainwall skyway bridge connecting the addition to the existing hospital.
