EGAN COMPANY ANNOUNCES SALE OF FABRICATED DUCT SYSTEMS
August 2, 2021
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (AUGUST 2, 2021) – Egan Company, a Minnesota specialty contractor and systems integrator, announced the sale of its sheet metal fabrication business, Fabricated Duct Systems (FabDuct), to Go Fetsch Mechanical of Shoreview, Minn.
“Go Fetsch Mechanical has been a long-time partner of Egan Company and we’re confident it can take FabDuct to the next level and continue to offer quality, custom-made products to its many customers—including Egan—around the Twin Cities,” said Ross Noak, Egan Company Senior Vice President. “As we began discussions about this business shift, it has always been important to Egan and Go Fetsch that the team, level of service, and quality remain the same. The FabDuct team will remain the same and we know with new ownership under Go Fetsch, this business will continue as the top sheet metal fabricator in the area.”
FabDuct was formed as an Egan Company business over 50 years ago as a commercial and industrial metal fabrication shop. It fabricates sheet metal products varying from HVAC duct and spiral duct to dust collectors and fume hoods.
“I was absolutely knocked sideways by this opportunity to expand our reach as a female/minority owned mechanical contractor in the Twin Cities. Egan Company has been so supportive of this opportunity to grow Go Fetsch Mechanical and I feel so fortunate to have them by my side through this transition,” said Nikki Fetsch, Go Fetsch Mechanical President. “I’m excited to continue in their footsteps and provide the same level of service, quality product and customer service we have become accustomed to from FabDuct.”
FabDuct and its employees will continue to operate from its current Brooklyn Park, Minn. location.
