Egan acquires ERC

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (January 6, 2014) – Egan Company, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest specialty contractors, is pleased to announce that Electric Resource Contractors (ERC) has joined forces with their Company. ERC, a 78-year old company based in Minneapolis, offers life critical power solutions for healthcare facilities, Level 1 Trauma Centers and Emergency Rooms, critical data centers, enterprise distribution centers, as well as many other industrial applications.
The addition of ERC further expands Egan’s presence in the electrical market and will enhance the Company’s range of services, application knowledge, and industry specific capabilities.

Approximately 13 ERC employees will move into Egan’s corporate office in Brooklyn Park and 83 field personnel will become part of Egan. ERC CEO, Dana Daniels, will also join Egan’s leadership team.
