- In a Design/Build role, Egan’s electrical team removed and replaced three existing 2000 KVA Xcel Energy transformer services at a confidential global corporation.
- The existing services were replaced with two 2500 KVA substations, MTM, and a new Fire Pump substation.
- The team’s scope included rebuilding the existing services with custom lineups inside the electrical vault using 3200 amp breakers with maintenance mode to achieve a sub 40 cal energy. This was done so breakers and switches in the gear downstream could operate safely.
- Egan performed a series of cutovers into the new gear while the facility was fully occupied. Zero interruption to business occurred during this project.
