- In 2015, Seagate expanded an existing operating Class 100 Clean Room area, with new mechanical and fabrication. Egan fabricated and installed sanitized double-wall ductwork for new clean room area, roof, and the install owner provided 75,000 CFM air handling unit on rooftop structural steel.
- The Seagate Longmont, Colorado Design Center is a 450,000 square foot project for the research and development of new products in support of Seagate’s manufacturing operations. The two-story steel structure is 10,200 square feet of Class 10 clean room; 22,000 square feet of clean laboratory space; 94,000 square feet of production laboratory space offices; and mechanical, electrical, and process equipment support areas. The Design Center is complete with a RO/DI water plan and chemical storage room.
- In 2009, Egan provided the installation of a new 13.8 metal clad switch gear and duct band feeder and a new pad mounted 2,000 KVA transformers, as well as relocating a 1600 am switchboard service. Eight fused switchboards for power distribution and extensive lighting was also installed.
