Electrical
- Egan Company provided the electrical systems on the 11-mile Central Corridor Light Rail (CCLRT) project linking Downtown Minneapolis with Downtown St. Paul.
- Included were a Lowertown Operations and Maintenance Facility, Central Corridor’s Civil West, and Systems.
- Egan provided electrical systems service and the installation and commissioning of 16 traction power substations. Additional scope included cable pulling, installing the train signal system, wiring and placing light fixtures in station stops, and bringing traffic lights into service.
- Electrical installation also occurred in the trains, including PA systems, fiber-optic cabling, and low-voltage electrical.
- This was the third LRT system Egan Company has installed in the Twin Cities. Previous projects were: Blue Line, linking the Mall of America to Target Field; NorthStar Line, connecting the NorthStar Commuter rail to the Blue Line
