SPECIALTIES FEATURED WITH THIS PROJECT:
Building Technology Integration
- The Verizon Wireless Center is home to the Minnesota State University Mavericks hockey team, and also hosts a multitude of events including concerts and conventions.
- In 2015, as part of a larger expansion being done on the center, Egan Company worked with Daktronics to install a new center-hung video scoreboard for the arena.
- Responsibilities included all communications and electrical systems required to operate the upgraded scoreboard, which consists of four identical displays facing each direction and an upper ring display that circles the top of the configuration.
- In addition to the installation of fiber optic network and other communication cabling to new control racks and two operator stations, Egan provided wiring and conduit to the new scoreboard and hoist system.
