A large clinic and hospital in Mankato, Minn. expanded its hospital capacity with a new wing to accommodate inpatient care.
As part of the expansion, Egan Company’s Fire Alarm & Life Safety team designed, engineered, and installed the fire alarm and mass notification system.
The project included manual fire alarm pull stations, duct detectors, relay modules, speaker and strobe notification devices, and new fire alarm devices.
Access control, door holder releases, and notification power supplies were installed throughout the facility.
Egan also added nurse call interfaces for each hospital room.
