Low voltage, plumbing

  • A new 44,000 square foot concrete paver facility for Interlock Concrete Products was constructed in Jordan, Minn.
  • In a Design/Build role, multiple Egan specialties were utilized for the project, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Low Voltage.
  • Scope of work for the Mechanical team included completing the plumbing work throughout a break room and restrooms, as well as a new dust collection system, a makeup air system, infrared heaters, compressed air system, and a process water system for the paver facility.
  • The Electrical team played a significant role as well, installing a new 33,000 amp 480 volt service and fiber backbone to the facility. Electricians assisted in installing cable tray, underground raceways, sensors, and wiring control cabinets.
  • New high bay lighting with night controls were also installed by Egan.
  • The project took 7,900 hours over eight months to complete.
