In this remodel project, Egan worked alongside Benike Construction to fully renovate the original 1916 Chatfield School into Chatfield Center for the Arts.
In the first phase of the project, the auditorium was remodeled (which was attached to the school in 1936). The original architecture and plaster finishes were left in-tact which posed a complex installation of new LED lighting, panelboards, and low voltage systems. This phase also included installation of parking lot lighting and other site lighting.
In its second phase, the scope of work included installation of the electrical, fire alarm, security, and low voltage systems within the two-story historic building. This included site, decorative and theatrical lighting, panelboards, speakers, audio/visual/data, and food truck receptacles.
