2022 Top Projects Announced By Finance & Commerce

Every year, Finance & Commerce recognizes the top new construction and remodel projects in Minnesota. This year, Egan was honored as part of the project team for five Top Projects of 2022, including:

Eleven

“It’s not easy to build the tallest residential tower in the Midwest in a parking lot between two occupied buildings. But that’s what Ryan Companies had to do in order to put Eleven, a 42-story, 120-unit condominium tower, on West River Parkway.”

Graco French Lake Building 1

“Graco initiated construction of a spacious 538,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Dayton to accommodate the company’s tremendous business growth. The manufacturer of industrial pumps and sprayers was feeling cramped at its Minneapolis headquarters and purchased 100 acres in Dayton in 2021.”

Hennepin County Medical Examiners Facility

“A building can’t make autopsy work easy. But it can make recovering afterward a little easier. That’s the theory behind Hennepin County’s new Medical Examiner facility, a 64,000-square-foot combination of office space, body processing and autopsy space, and sally port.”

Moment

“Sherman Associates began brainstorming Moment in 2017 and watched it go through iterations including hotel, large commercial, and multifamily. COVID-19 hit in the midst of finalizing the plans, so the development team made adjustments to the unit mix and amenity spaces to support work from home use including adding more one-bedroom/den units and work-from-home amenity space. On the second floor is non-profit user Firefighters For Healing. The transitional healing center provides 12 furnished suites available to families of burn survivors, firefighters and first responders traveling to the Twin Cities for care at nearby Hennepin Healthcare.”
